Pet Parents: 10 Reasons Why We Should be Celebrated

There are some mixed opinions out there as to whether or not pet parents should be celebrated on Mother’s or Father’s Day.

Or if we should get our own pet parents national day.

I’d like to make an argument that pet parenting should be celebrated just like little human parenting.

Here are a few of the things we do for/with our little furry children:

  1. Feed them first
  2. Clean up their potty “deposits”
  3. Ensure they have (too many) toys!
  4. Play together
  5. Take them to the doctor
  6. Give them meds when they are sick
  7. Teach them new things (like tricks and obedience)
  8. Provide discipline when they misbehave
  9. Take a million pictures and share them on social media!
  10. Love them UNCONDITIONALLY!
